Today is Earth Day and I thought, as I was hauling the
garbage out to the curb before leaving for work, am I doing my part? Gazing down at the trash accumulated by my family of four in just one week, and then down the block at the mounds of black bags in front of my neighbor’s homes, I know it is imperative we all do more!
According to the US Census Bureau’s population clock, right now, the U.S. population is 309,118,263 and the world population is 6,816,415,349. Can you even get your brain around the amount of garbage being produced daily?
