U.S. Passport Fees Going Up

Starting July 13^th fees associated with obtaining U.S. Passports will be going up. An extensive study in 2009 by the State Department determined the true cost of providing passports has risen substantially and per the law these costs must be collected through fees.  Below is a quick summation:

Adult – New Passport  $135 (Up 35% from $100)

Adult – Renewal  $110 (Up 47% from $75)

Minor – New Passport $105 (Up 24% from $85)
